M74100/1 Vertical Spindle Surface Grinder with Rotary Table

一.  Machine Overview: 

      The M74100/1 is a vertical spindle rotary table surface grinding machine capable of grinding large-sized metal components with a diameter of up to 1000mm. It is suitable for flat grinding of various metal materials such as titanium alloys, heat-resistant alloys, cast iron, and cast steel (with a maximum workpiece height of 350mm). The system has good rigidity, high precision, long service life, and is equipped with a cooling system, making it capable of achieving high productivity in mass production. It is suitable for batch production of ring-shaped workpieces such as saw blades, bearing sleeves, piston rings, and gate valves in industries such as tools, automobiles, bearings, and valves.

二. Main Structure and Features of the Machine: 

      This machine features an electromagnetic worktable and a vertical grinding head, making it an efficient surface grinding machine that utilizes the end face of the grinding wheel to grind the workpiece.

The machine tool adopts a layout with the column enclosing the grinding head, the worktable drag plate for movement, and the electromagnetic worktable for rotational motion. The longitudinal movement of the worktable drag plate and the rotational motion of the worktable are achieved through mechanical transmission with sliding guide way. The vertical movement of the grinding head is driven by an AC motor with a ball screw, and it is equipped with manual feed, power feed, and zero position stop device.

The cutting fluid filtration device uses a magnetic separator to separate the cutting fluid from the abrasive dust. The machine tool employs a programmable lubrication pump for timed and quantitative automatic lubrication at vertical and critical lubrication points.

The machine tool is equipped with demagnetization protection to ensure safety in production. Lubrication methods of the machine tool: 

1-1.Circular guide way are lubricated by oil immersion. 

1-2.Vertical movement guide rails and rolling ball screws are automatically lubricated by a programmable lubrication pump. 

1-3.The grinding head is lubricated by periodic grease injection. The electromagnetic worktable of the machine tool adopts a concentric circular pole structure. The main spindle wheel guard of the machine tool is enclosed for good safety, and the column is enclosed and protected, ensuring good sealing and preventing rusting of the guide way and ball screws. The grinding head motor of the machine tool adopts a closed structure without ventilation holes, resulting in low noise. The grinding head body shell is designed with double walls for ventilation, protecting the motor from damage and ensuring effective cooling. The power motors of the machine tool are all externally accessible for easy maintenance. 

Surface roughness is Ra ≤ 1.25μm, and the uniform thickness of the ground surface relative to the grinding surface is ≤ 0.01mm. The machine tool is equipped with a wheel chuck. The machine tool also has functions such as travel protection, motor overheating protection, and circuit short-circuit protection.
